The University of Rwanda-College of Education was pleased to host a delegation from National Council of Persons with Disabilities Rwanda (NCPD) at UR Nyagatare & UR Rukara Campuses from 4–5 October, as part of a visit to ANSWER partners. The visit aimed to review progress in disability support and strengthen collaboration to advance inclusive learning.

At UR Rukara Campus, the delegation led by ES Mr. Ndayisaba Emmanuel was welcomed by Principal Prof. Florien Nsanganwimana. Discussions focused on strengthening support services for students with disabilities, reinforcing our commitment to inclusive learning.

The delegation also interacted with students with disabilities to learn about their learning experience, and met staff in the School of Inclusive and Special Needs Edu., including the Dean, Dr. Patrick Suubi. The visit also featured a tour of the Resource Room/Student Support Centre.
